XSEJONG

XSEJONG is a collaboration focused project within Sejong Korean Language School's merchandise line.

We periodically collaborate with amazing Korean artists from a variety of backgrounds (such as tattoo artists, oil painters, jewelry designers), to produce culturally-significant yet functional, limited-edition collab items that give exposure to cool, note-worthy artists from Korea!

We hope to introduce new artists to you and design awesome school gear to support your Korean language learning journey with us!

안녕하세요, 라라입니다.

회화과를 졸업했고, 현재는 타투어로 활동하고 있습니다. 도화지에 색연필 질감을 살린 작은 그림들을 주로 그리고 있습니다. 재료 특유의 보슬보슬한 질감이 전해 주는 따뜻하고 사랑스러운 느낌을 좋아합니다. 또, 밝고 귀여운 색채들을 많이 사용해요. 예상치 못하게 어울리는 색 조합을 찾는 건 저의 취미 중 하나입니다. 저는 대학시절부터 동화같이 환상적이면서 따뜻한 느낌이 든다는 피드백을 많이 받았는데, 여러분이 보시기에는 어떤가요?:) 저에게 그림은 가장 좋은 친구이자 인생을 좋은 곳으로 인도해주는 스승입니다. 이번에는 한국을 상징하는 8가지를 디자인했습니다. 여러분께 인사드리게 되어 영광입니다. 저의 그림들로 인해 여러분의 오늘 하루가 더욱 즐겁고 행복하셨으면 좋겠습니다. 감사합니다.

Hello, this is LaLa. I graduated from the department of painting. I’m currently a tattoo artist in Hongdae. I mainly draw small pictures using colored pencil on drawing paper. I like the warm and lovely feeling of the soft texture unique to the material. Also, I use a lot of bright and cute colors. Finding unexpected color combinations is one of my hobbies. I've received a lot of feedback since my college days that it feels fantastic and warm like a fairy tale. How do you guys see it? :) For me, painting is my best friend and a teacher who leads my life to a good place. This time, I designed 8 things that symbolize Korea for SEJONG.
